A fellowship in Laryngology is an advanced training program offered for ENT specialists and health care practitioners who wish to gain further knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and management of voice, airway and swallowing disorders. The program offers a detailed knowledge of larynx anatomy, physiology, pathologies, diagnostic work-up and therapeutic strategies in contemporary laryngological practice. Participants learn about swallowing and swallowing disorders, voice disorders, airway stenosis, pediatric laryngology, neurolaryngology, oncologic laryngology, gender-affirming voice care, laryngeal trauma, and professional voice care. The course also emphasizes office-based procedures, operative microlaryngoscopy, reconstructive surgery of the airway, voice rehabilitation, new advances in technology, and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The fellowship will focus on enhancing clinical knowledge, diagnostic reasoning, and evidence-based decision-making regarding the field of laryngology through structured academic learning, case-based discussions, and exposure to current clinical practices.
