Program overview
The Fellowship in Pediatric Nursing is a one-year specialisation for registered nurses, nursing students and health care workers who want to gain a deeper understanding of paediatric and child health care. It offers full training in assessing the child, growth and development, neonatal care, immunizations, pediatric pharmacology, emergency care, nutrition, and family-centered nursing care. Participants gain a solid foundation in evidence-based principles of pediatric nursing and current strategies for meeting the needs of infants, children and adolescents in different healthcare environments by combining organized online learning, discussion of case studies, clinical experience and guidance from experienced faculty.
