Program overview
The Fellowship in Hand Surgery is a 12-month advanced surgical training and research program for Orthopedic Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons and surgical trainees interested in improving their knowledge and clinical understanding of hand and upper extremity healthcare issues. The course includes well organized academic lectures and supervised clinical exposure in the following domains: trauma management, reconstructive microsurgery, peripheral nerves surgery, congenital hand anomalies, hand rehabilitation, arthritis surgery and emerging innovations in hand surgery. Interactive online learning sessions, clinical workshops, case discussions and mentorship from expert faculty provide participants with a broad perspective on contemporary hand surgery principles and patient management.
Skills You Will Gain
In depth understanding of the anatomy, biomechanics and pathologies of the hand and upper limb.
