Program overview
MGA Medical Global Academy has a specialized Fellowship in Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy for physicians interested in pursuing a career in minimally invasive gynecological surgery. The fellowship program is a comprehensive training experience in all aspects relating to diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, fertility preservation surgery, pelvic reconstruction and advanced minimal access surgery techniques in modern gynecology. Focusing on theory and a large amount of practical clinical experience, the program allows participants to gain specializations in laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometriosis surgery, hysteroscopic intrauterine surgery, minimally invasive fertility surgery, and pelvic floor surgery. The curriculum also includes advanced surgical ergonomy, electrosurgical systems, minimal access surgery complications management, minimal access surgery in oncologic surgery and next generation surgical technologies. They learn through direct observation of live surgery, simulation training, and surgical case discussions, clinical audits, video-based procedural analysis and from experienced gynecologic surgeons. The fellowship focuses primarily on patient safety, evidence-based surgical practice, precision surgery and current minimally invasive surgical principles in hopes of enhancing surgical skills and improving clinical outcomes.
