MGA Medical Global Academy provides an advanced Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology, geared towards health care professionals interested in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric skin disorders in infants, children and adolescents. This fellowship program is clinically oriented and offers extensive training in pediatric skin health, inflammatory skin diseases, infectious dermatological diseases, genetic diseases, autoimmune skin diseases and pediatric dermatological emergencies. The curriculum includes both didactic and clinical training, with the goal of providing participants with clinical skills in making diagnosis, performing dermatologic procedures, and implementing evidence-based treatment strategies, and with the understanding of how to provide age-appropriate care to children. Common pediatric skin diseases include diaper dermatitis, bacterial diseases, fungal diseases, eczema, and psoriasis, while advanced topics feature socio-cultural issues with chronic skin diseases, pharmacology, pediatric dermatologic surgery, and genodermatoses. Participants have clinical experiences and exposure through clinical case discussions, mentorship sessions, research activities, and multidisciplinary learning approaches. The fellowship is also dedicated to the care of newborns, immunocompromised children and children with genetic syndromes, with the ultimate goal of providing comprehensive dermatologic care to children based on state-of-the-art clinical knowledge.
