The Fellowship in Paediatric Psychology represents a post-doctoral training program for healthcare and mental health professionals who want to gain expertise in psychological development, emotional health and behavioural health issues of children and adolescents. The program offers a broad exposure to child development, psychological evaluation, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatric health psychology and family-centered care. The areas covered in the course include cognitive and behavioral assessment, anxiety and mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, trauma psychology, adolescent mental health, pediatric rehabilitation, and psychological aspects of chronic medical conditions. School and community interventions, child protection, pediatric sleep and feeding problems, digital mental health, public health interventions for child psychology, and ethical issues in working with children and families are also addressed in the curriculum. The fellowship seeks to enhance the professional knowledge and clinical decision making in the provision of psychological care for children in diverse health care and community contexts, through structured learning, clinical discussion, and multidisciplinary approaches.
